Its going on to bigger and better things than I can bring to it.
Not all bad though, just the way it goes sometimes and there is a new track bike in the works.
Since racing is off the table this year, Ive been concentrating on tattooing, mechanical projects and crunching the miles on my bicycles.
Bikes are relativly cheap, and Ive been able to replenish my stable of rides as well as provide the family with some cool wheels as well.
My little buddy Lorenzo has been my latest bike fiend and it really is amazing that a bike can be as cool to a 7 year old as it is to an old fucker like myself !
Ive built my trusty Fisher into a single speed training machine.
I have the Specialized RH urban asslaut 29er as well as the badass trail killer 29er.
Something for any and every occasion.
So every day, ( or night ), I hop on and crunch the miles.
Since February, and with 2 months off, Im closing in on 1000 miles between the road and the trail.
Balancing between hard training rides and just good old fashion cruising and wheelie riding fun.
Physical activity is good for the mind, and some of my best tattoo ideas come while Im pedaling along.
Bikes, like tattooing have been a part of my life since day one.
Sometimes things just find their way too you and its good to not ignore the lessons they have in store.
Too many " adults " forget that its cool to dream and live like its your last day on earth.
I mean, who wants to die at in a fucking office cubicle ?
Sounds horrifiying if you ask me.
My fabrication shop here at Location 1 and 1a are coming along really well and soon should be fully dialed.
With some good rides planned this week and some cool ink to lay down, Ill have some new pics up soon.
So while Im doing my thing, go have some fucking fun and don't forget the dip as the Wise One Uncle Mark would say......
